Coimbatore town has number of intersting places. It has many a number of temples such as Thandu Mariamman temple, Konur amman temple, Marudamalai Murugan Temple etc. Marudaamalai temple was made famous by Film Producer Chinappa Devar in his Film TamilDeivam. The film has a beautiful song Marudamalai Mamunia by legeandary carnatic singer Madurai Somasundaram. The temple was said to be initated by Pampati Chittar some 300 years back. you can have a panoramic view of Coimbatore town from the temple. The enterance to the temple is seen in this photo.
Ukkadam Lake is situated in the heart of the town. It is a busy place with a busy bus terminus. Among the busy atomosphere you have a sceneic beauty if you have heart and soul to look for it. I tookthe photo only for its beautiful reflection of sun.
