Sometimes when I finished reading a book the thought that if only I have read it earlier my life would have been different comes to us. Reading a book at right time and right stage is also essential. Stephen Covey’ The 7 Habits of Highly successful persons is one such book. (If any one of you reading this felt about same while reading a book write about it.)
Colin Wilson’ The Outsider is another brilliant book that came to me fairly recently. The Outsider made me re-read DOSTOEVSKY’ crime and punishment again. It gave me new meaning. I searched for Hemingway and Herman Hesse in my libraries. Colin Wilson needs a separate blog which I’ll do it after giving it a second reading.

I hit upon Henry Miller when I was in twenty. That was the age I hit upon sum drugs. Fortunately I left it soon. I was never ashamed of my hippie years. Because of that I had social awareness which helped in my official years to take decisions that bent on helping weaker sections.
